Report - Improving Pedestrian Mobility through bottom-up Strategies
In Ethiopia, walkability is largely overlooked in planning strategies. The “Ring Road”, a large circular highway in the capital Addis Ababa, is an example for such planning. This report is the result of a 1-month interdisciplinary workshop on the challenges of pedestrians in Addis Ababa. We collected data and prototyped solutions to overcome particular pedestrian challenges, such as jaywalking. Full report
